BioHelix announced today that Dr. Heiner Dreismann has been named to its Board of Directors. Dr. Dreismann is the former president and CEO of Roche Molecular Systems (RMS), a pioneer in PCR-based (polymerase chain reaction) molecular diagnostic tests and a division of F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd. During his tenure as CEO, RMS's product portfolio expanded significantly and the company's annual sales doubled. His experience and leadership in the molecular diagnostic industry brings significant value to BioHelix. Dr. Dreismann received his PhD in microbiology/molecular biology from the University of Munster in Germany.
