| BioHelix announced today that it was awarded a cooperative agreement from the Department of Homeland Security. The aim of this project is to develop a portable system for use in the field to rapidly identify biothreat organisms, such as Bacillus anthracis. This cooperative agreement award will enable BioHelix to prepare the HDA technology for use in handheld devices and identify partners to co-develop an HDA-based, handheld DNA diagnostic device. | ||||||||||||||||||
