Research Associate

BioHelix Corporation was founded in 2004 by scientists from New England Biolabs. Located in Beverly Massachusetts, BioHelix's mission is to improve the quality of healthcare through the development of simple and cost-effective molecular diagnostic tests (for more info please visit our web www.biohelix.com. We are looking for a highly motivated Research Associate to join our R&D and Production groups, working under the direction of Senior Scientists. This position is available immediately.

Responsibilities:

- Participate directly in various production activities including packaging, labeling, data-card generation, and QC/QA testing.
- Supporting diagnostic assay development activities including assay verification & validation, and stability tests.

Qualifications:

The candidate is expected to have B.S. degree with at least two-years of laboratory experience, or M.S. degree in life sciences of one or more of the following scientific disciplines: Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, other related majors.
Qualified candidate shall meet the following specific requirements:

- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, emphasizing both efficiency and quality of work.
- Multi-tasking and team player.
- Good knowledge and previous experience in PCR and other nucleic acid amplification is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft office programs and excellent organization and communication skills (oral and writing).
